my main artsy and craftsy projects are on hold, as there's a lot of life stuff happening right now.

the kitty I adopted had a bladder infection at the shelter, so i'm finishing her course of antibiotics at home. she's obviously not super fond of the medicine so I've been stressing about giving it to her, but i know it needs to be done.

otherwise, she's adjusting to my home wonderfully, she was cuddly and sweet all yesterday afternoon until this morning. I'll provide pics of her soon.

other than that, I'm mostly just stressed about family stuff. my mother has been coming to my apartment to help me with one thing and then reorganizing things that are completely unrelated. I know its likely a mental health thing for her but its frustrating trying to establish boundaries with this and having that be ignored. She doesn't seem to actually respect my boundaries or desires, at least not enough to follow up.

anyways, more knitting is coming soon, and maybe some drawings as well :)

welcome, and thank you for joining me!

this blog is going to be mostly, if not entirely, for my crafting, art, and DIY journey!
for background info, I've known how to crochet and sew since I was a kid, and now (Feb 2023) as a 21 year old college student, I've recently learned how to knit and it has revived my passion for crafts.

I'm a studio arts major w a minor in computer science, so art plays a heavy role in my crafts and my computer knowledge plays a heavy role in making and running this blog.

I have a sort of over-analyzing mind, so keeping track of all the projects I try and how it goes will be very helpful for me, and hopefully you find some level of entertainment or helpful tips in this too!
